We collaborate closely with owners, general contractors, engineers, architects, and VDC teams to address access, sequencing, constructability, and installation requirements before they become field challenges. Because structural steel frequently falls on the critical path, resolving issues early helps protect project budgets, downstream work, and the overall schedule.
FIELD-INFORMED DETAILING
Getting steel ordered early is important. Getting it right before fabrication is critical. Our Tekla models and drawings combine fabrication requirements with direct input from experienced field ironworkers and supervisors who understand how the steel will be accessed, sequenced, and erected. This approach helps identify and resolve constructability concerns before fabrication, reducing avoidable RFIs, field modifications, delays, and rework.
VERIFIED FIELD CONDITIONS
Using our in-house Trimble X9 and X7 reality-capture equipment, we document existing conditions and provide accurate spatial information for coordination, fabrication, and installation. On complex projects—including seismic upgrades, renovations, and tenant improvements—registered point clouds and coordinated models allow proposed steel to be evaluated against actual site conditions before fabrication. This process helps reduce late RFIs, field modifications, installation risk, unplanned costs, and schedule uncertainty.
